Rude, Crude, & Brewed
Blaker's bottles her first home brew. This batch should be ready for consumption on the 24th. We are planning a bock for next time, but this time she appeased our west coast brethren and whipped up an IPA. Once this brewing process comes a little more natural and intuitive, Blakers intent is to make medicinal beers. I can hear her now, "Take 6 of these and call me in the morning". Whose gonna help us drink 'em?

New York's alright if you like Saxophones
A little bit of punk in all of us
FEAR 10-31-81
The show's director originally wanted to prevent the dancers from participating, so Belushi offered to be in the episode if the dancers were allowed to stay. The end result was the shortening of Fear's appearance on TV. They started their second performance by saying, "It's great to be in New Jersey," drawing boos from S-N-L's New York live audience. Fear played "Beef Bologna," "New York's Alright If You Like Saxophones," and started to play "Let's Have a War" when the audio and video of the telecast faded into commercial. During the performance the slamdancers left ripe pumpkin remains on the set and stage speakers. Shortly after the 1981 Halloween SNL appearance, which resulted in $20,000 in damages, some clubs chose not to hire the band. -wiki

"O' zapft is!"
"O' zapft is!" is what German's say when the first keg of Oktoberfest beer is tapped. I usually say, "Oh shit, I need this right now.". Some caps from the past two weeks of workin' and drinkin'.
My own Beerfest
During Oktoberfest times in Germany, drunk patrons are often called "Bierleichen" (German for "beer corpses"). In the South, our Beer Corpses are put on display at the local Food Lizard and surrounded by poison.
