I CANT DRIVE 55
48 hours. 750+ miles. Remington Hot Springs. Panoche Hills. Got lucky with the weather. Not so lucky with mechanical trouble(s), dropped bikes, wrecked bike. No cops and just one Juggalo (ette) run in. Im pretty sure those kids were fucking in the hotspring...

I CANT FEEL MY HANDS
1000 miles of California can cover some amazing shit. Last year a few of us hit the road to loop around the Sierra Nevada just before (we thought) all the mountain passes started to close for the winter. Definitely in the running for best trip so far:
Bristlecone Pine (trees older than jesus). Rifles+handguns. Travertine Hotsprings. BLM camping. All night bonfires. Z trying to safety pin his busted suit shut. Having to bump start my bike every morning and trying to "warm it up" over a fire. Sawtooth Mountains. Sleeping out in single digit temps. Remote backcountry creepin'. Coasting downhill for miles with a gas tank too small for where you are heading. Lone Pine. Golden Trout Wilderness. Freshly paved race track worthy roads with no cops for miles...
EPIC...
