New Years 2011/2012

Started off the weekend with a pit stop in the woods to fire off a few rounds.

Big trips to Hogs Inlet happened everyday and Fletch F Fletch broke out his new style, socks and flip flops and a hacky sack

Cherry Grove in the Fall

For Thanksgiving and New Years it seems customary for me to be found at the beach. I love it. There's no one there, the beaches are empty and the sky is so clear.
Blakers and I took a sunset stroll down the beach. It was the first thing we did when we rolled up to the beach house. I probably walked down that beach 6 times in a day and half. I'm gonna do it again come New Years.

Bolineaus is quite possible the best grocery store ever. Their donut display is divine.

Carlee wishing and fishing all for not.

Y2blogosphere

KHole sent this to me. forgot about it. "Pay to cum" read the church sign on the way. How many people emptied their bank accounts for this one? I think there are still people in WNC that are trying to sell their stockpiles of food from this fun Millennium change.
Country music was revived after this year.

Photocopied Chaos

Found some strange photocopied photos of New Years 1999/2000 (Oak Island, NC). Blasts from the past for sure. I know it seems impossible now, with people having kids and contacts being lost, but I would love to see the friends we had 10 years ago reconnect at another New Years. Until that happens, I've got photo's and memories.

Dance with me, Come on dance with me baby

All this talk lately of New Year's about who can come to the beach and who can't has inspired me to post a couple of dance moves by pac-ass. This New Years won't be the same without you's guy's.

Pipe Dreams

For the past 10 years, a posse of us have been gathering for New Years. We mostly go to the beach, but from time to time we go elsewhere. Topsail Beach 2006 was an especially sweet year. Beautiful sunsets, bitchin' house, amazing company. I'm gettin' ready for 2010/2011 for it's gonna be awwwwsome.
