R.I.P. Big time. We're all imperfect, we're all fallible, but Gil's talk outweighed his walk. What else is there to say?

Somebody else's Boss
I've never been a huge Springsteen fan.
It's okay, take a breath.
I admit he's unquestionably an amazing songwriter. And I love the album Nebraska. It's lyrically beautiful, and the music is simple and raw. Everything else I've ever heard though, and granted I don't seek it out, sounded like the dude had lost his mind and hired the worst 80's band ever to ruin an otherwise good song. Harsh words, I know.

A long life, too few Saturday nights
Saw Hayes Carll tonight with a few EV afficionados.
I woke up at 3:40 am today. I worked 8.5 hrs, came home and drank a glass of bourbon, took a short nap, and made it over to the show. If there's any future for country music then Hayes can't be ignored. It was a great show.
If only our man Wood Ear could have opened…
I prefer the album version of this song but, since it's such a great tune, any version will do. And here's a great song off the new record that he did solo tonight.
Enjoy.

The Plumber's Life For Me
Not sure why Darnel hasn't posted this yet, but homeboy recently purchased him not only a Toyota T100 truck, but also a FourWinds Eagle Camper. After a few upgrades to the truck and domicile, this little scamper is ready for some cush vacating. If there is one thing that we all know about Darnel, is that he will find a way to make whatever he does as comfortable as possible. What a lush.
Here's Darnel and Daniel Boone (seriously) inking the deal.

bike punx
A flyer for the sake of flyering. I miss those multicolored copiers at Kinko's.
A little back ground for those unknowing. Between '93-'97 use to make flyers for shows that took place in our living room. From time to time we would churn out some propaganda to indoctrinate lost and impressionable youth (much like ourselves).
Get out your sticker printer paper and start making some stickers.
